<div>So then how goes the struggle for the poetic expression in the thickly clutered town of denver. <br/>I've been running a small lit/poetry/art mag down here for the last few months called twenty3 (www.twenty3magazine.com) strangely enough while poets all across the world have been sending submissions only a couple people from denver thought to do so. I sometimes question whether we are forced to profer only the mercury cafe for a podium, and further more I am consistently surprised (not really) that poetry has so little to do with language construction and has taken on the slam. kills me to be honest.
